Graduate School is about so much more than the academics of your degree--it's about becoming a strong communicator, thinking outside of the box, managing time, caring for yourself, and balancing the roles you play personally, academically, and professionally. Pages found in this section, "Finding Community," will give some details about various grad student groups, events, and opportunities that will help you do all of the above.

There are plenty of ways to find community in graduate school. While we encourage you to get to know your department, which will be an excellent source of community throughout your time at UNH, the Graduate School offers several programs that allow you to get to know grad students in other fields as well.

Our programs are designed to help you gain skills in various areas, so that by the time you graduate, you feel prepared for next steps. All of our events are determined by a Graduate Student Interest survey conducted annually, so that you have a chance to tell us exactly the kinds of programs you would find most helpful.
